Shipping Policies
Rubicon Bakery cakes, marshmallows, and CocoaBerries can be shipped anywhere in the contiguous United
States. Our cakes are shipped frozen in an insulated container filled with dry ice. Please take care not to touch
any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
For our cakes, we highly recommend using UPS 2-Day Air (or Next Day) to maintain freshness. We cannot
ship our cakes 3-day or Ground. We ship our cakes only on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of each week
to preclude transit delays over the weekend. Orders for cakes placed after 12noon PST on Wednesday will ship
the following week.
Our products will be shipped in 7-10 business days. If you want to receive your order by a specific date, please
indicate this in your order.
Care and Serving Instructions
Cakes: Upon receipt, remove the cake from the carton, leaving the plastic wrapping. If you are serving the cake within 5 days of
receipt, place it in the refrigerator. If serving it at a later date, place your cake in the freezer for up to 3 months. For optimal taste,
bring the cake to room temperature before serving by thawing it overnight in the refrigerator and then setting it in a cool, dry place
for 1-2 hours.
Marshmallows: Store these items in a cool, dry place (i.e. pantry or counter.) They will stay fresh for 6-8 weeks.
CocoaBerries: Store these items in a cool, dry place (i.e. pantry or counter.) They will stay fresh for 4-6 months.
